Mexico, the worlds leading avocado producing country, is home to the fields in which our Avocados are grown. The tropical climates of the regions in which our Avocados are grown allow for year-round avocado production. Thanks to the quintessential climates of our growing regions, we are able to partake in a continuous harvest, allowing us to provide our customers with a year-round supply.

Mexico has 4 Hass Avocado blooms per year, meaning the same avocado tree can be harvested 4 times every year. The 4 blooms are as follows:

  1. Flor Loca ("Crazy Flower"); June-September

  2. Aventajada ("Advanced Flower"); October-December

  3. Normal ("Normal Bloom"); September-February

  4. Flor Marceña ("March Flower"); February-June

The bloom under which our avocados are harvested greatly influences the color of our fruit, which can range from bright green to bright black to marble. Additionally, the bloom under which avocados are harvested can also influence the skin texture of our avocados as well as the shape of our fruit, which can range from round to pear-shaped.

Our Hass Avocados are available in a variety of carton and fruit sizes so reach out today to learn more or to be placed on our weekly price list! Pricing is set every Monday after the first harvest of the week.
